Family-owned and operated, Clay Ranch is a working ranch that offers a variety of agricultural products, services and experiences, with a western flair. By offering working quarter horses, commercial meat goats, educational ranch programs, and more, we are honoured to enjoy a lifestyle where work and play blend so easily together.
Since establishing our home on the Canadian prairie over 30 years ago, we are proud of what we have created.
Looking forward, we are so very excited to share our plans for the future.
We welcome you to explore Clay Ranch through our website, and please do Contact Us if you would like to connect. We would love to hear from you.

It Starts With a Willing MindFrom the beginning, our main focus has been breeding and training high-quality quarter horses. While a lot has changed in the equine industry, our mission has remained constant: to produce athletes with good conformation, versatility and—above all—trainability.
Through working with our own horses, we understand the value of a willing mind. This one trait can have a huge impact in the progress and success you achieve with your equine partner. Personal horseback experiences working on the ranch and competing in the arena have granted us unique perspective in building our program. |

Growth and LearningIn recent years, we have diversified our operation by introducing a variety of animals into the new Alternative Agriculture branch of Clay Ranch.
First was a selection of commercial goats, closely followed by a small flock of haired sheep. We have also added a few laying hens to the mix, and you can generally find a handful of cattle around the ranch. Along with our interest in local, small-scale food production, we have a passion for learning. Considerable research and training has gone into these new ventures, and they each bring new and exciting elements to our ranch. |

Sharing the LifestyleWe are honoured and grateful to live the quiet life that we do. One of the greatest privileges of all is to share our methods and way of life with other people.
Educational youth programming and riding lessons allow us to share the simple joys of our ranch home with another generation. |
