2023 Kids
Clay Ranch is thrilled to announce that we have expanded our livestock to include a herd of goats! Our herd is comprised primarily of meat goat breeds (Boer, Kiko, Spanish) but also contains a good influence of dairy goats as well (Nubian, Alpine). Our focus with these goats is to produce quality kids with good conformation that are friendly and easy to work with. We are very excited about our 2023 kidding season! We expect it to begin at the end of March and run through April - meaning your kid will be ready for pick up around July. We will be posting updated details and pictures of each baby as the season goes on. Check back here or on our Instagram page (ClayRanch.Goats) to keep up to speed.
Kid prices will range from $250-$350. If you are interested in purchasing any of these babies, please contact us for additional information. A non-refundable deposit of $100 will hold your kid for you until they are weaned and ready for pick up. If your kid is injured while still here at Clay Ranch, your deposit may be transferred to another available kid.
Our goats are out on pasture during the warm season, and fed a mixture of grass hay when grazing and foraging is unavailable. Free choice salt and mineral are provided as well, all of which are accessible for the kids right from birth. Shelter from the elements is always available and in the cold Manitoba winters our goats are housed in the barns over night.
