Clay Ranch Birds
The Clay Ranch sheep flock is made up of a selection of hair sheep (no shearing required). Our focus with these sheep is to produce quality lambs with good conformation and to bring a little something different than we usually see around Manitoba, right here to the ranch. In order to do that, we have chosen a small number of high quality sheep to be our breeders! Here you will find the ewes (and ram!) responsible for the variety pack of lambs we welcome to the world each April.
Occasionally we will offer mature stock for sale. If you see one marked as such, please contact us for more information via email: [email protected]
If lambs are what you're looking to find, please follow the links below to be redirected to our lamb pages.

Clay Ranch Laying HensThe laying hens that we have added to our chore list have become an essential part of life on the ranch—both in the barn and in the kitchen!
These lovely ladies have been helping with our egg requirements the past couple of years. We're looking forward to getting them out around the yard this summer to lend a hand (or wing?) with keeping the bug population down. |
